Step 1a: Property Tour and Meeting the Community
This is optional and informal. If you attend any of our events, you’ll have a chance to see the property and meet us. If you’re interested in a tour and meeting us on a more personal level, please get in touch with us, and we’ll schedule a meeting.
Step 1b: Prescreening
This is required. In the Prescreening step, we’ll ask for your contact information, gender, information about you, how much space you’re looking for, your story, your hardships, and your hopes.
The prescreening form can be completed at any time and is available right here on this site.
Step 2: Prequalification
If your Prescreening is approved and we have a vacancy that fits your needs, you will be invited to prequalify. The prequalification survey gathers information about your income and criminal history (if applicable).
The prequalification survey is completed through our property management app and sent only when we have a vacancy and to potential community members whose needs fit the vacancy.
Step 3: Application
If your Prequalification is approved, you will be invited to apply. This is a more thorough survey and includes a fee for a criminal background check and a credit check.
The application is completed through our property management app.
Step 4: Lease Discussion
This is not a rental situation where you are only known to your landlord by your paperwork and rent payments. We’re here to provide mentorship and accountability for living out a Christian life despite hardships and in a world that makes Christian living difficult. We offer you much more and ask more from you than a standard landlord. This is all written into our lease agreement; you’ll need to read it and have an opportunity to ask questions before moving in. This will be a sit-down discussion with us on the property.
You can preview our community commitments (the unique portions of our lease agreement) by clicking the button below.
Step 5: Move-in
We’ll help you get your stuff here and settle in comfortably. We’ll also host a welcome dinner for you.
